Field

km long and 80 km wide the South Ice Field is surrounded by huge mountain ranges and temperamental
weather.
These lands are hidden from the common human being. This is an extremely wild place where you can feel insignificant under the paws of nature.
Big mountains as Volcan Lautaro (3380 mts.), Mariano Moreno (3400 mts.),
Gorra Blanca (2907 mts.) are especially attractive for mountain
skiing, as well as traverses that can be done with snowshoes or ski’s and crampons.

Mt.
San Lorenzo
Located
north of the South Ice Field, this mountain (3706 mts.) divides
Chile and Argentina. It is possible to reach the Base Camp from
both sides: Lago Posadas (Argentina) or Cochrane (Chile). The regular
route is technically easy. It is a long ascent and is exposed
to the west winds.
Season: October through March.

Mt.
San Valentin
This
mountain is inside the North Ice Field and is the highest
Mountain in Patagonia (4060 mts.). There is a long approach
and is usually hidden by the famous Patagonia weather. Although this is
a technically easy ascent, the weather is a crucial part
to the success. This ascent is a real commitment and a serious mountain challenge. Mt. San Valentin can be ascended with skis or snowshoes while pulling gear behind us using snow sleds.
There is also the option to hire an extra porter to carry your load.
Season: October through March.

Roy round trip
This is a technical
trekking circuit around Fitz Roy range, hiking through glaciers
