Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre area
Both of these mountains are quite famous, the granite towers are surrounded by beautiful glaciers making the approach to the base a full commitment. Los Glaciares National Park is in Argentina and offers both regular trekking circuits and wild treks where you are unlikely to see any other tourists.
Chalten is a little town strategically placed in the park and close to all of the trailheads. There is a good infrastructure for visitors with hostels, restaurants, internet, etc. The option of staying within a Patagonia Estancias is great way to see and feel the warm hospitality of the ranchers that live there all year round.

Mt. San Lorenzo
Chile and Argentina share the summit of Mt. San Lorenzo and the mountain can be accessed in two directions through Chile and Argentina. The area offers amazing trekking circuits through large valleys and upon high ridges. The area is particularly wild and visited by few. A few ranchers at the base of the valleys are the only human traces in this picturesque land.
